Greek Week was 8 amazing days filled with 11 events aimed at Greek unity and pride. We had an amazing time participating in the events this week! The theme for the week was Classic Greek, with each team taking on the name of an ancient Greek city-state. We were on Team Corinth along with Sigma Delta Tau and Sigma Phi Epsilon.
Sunday night were the Opening Ceremonies, complete with tons of lasers and great performances from different campus groups, such as AU in Motion and On a Sensual Note.
On Monday was the Greek God and Goddess Competition. Our sister Sammy represented us in the competition and got second runner-up for the sororities! She did an amazing job!

On Tuesday was SigEpic Comedy Night with Stephen Hoffsetter and Mission Improv-able, cosponsored by our Corinth teammates, SigEp! The show was hilarious!
On Wednesday was the annual AEPhi Phollies competition! Our sisters in Spicy Spring 2011 did a great performance complete with some serious rapping.

Also on Wednesday was Greeks Give Back. Sisters made cards for for soldiers at Walter Reed and donated canned goods. It was a great opportunity for the entire Greek community to participate in an event to help others.
Thursday was Pi Kapp's Wheelchair Basketball Game benefitting veterans at Walter Reed.
Friday night was a movie night befitting of the Greek Week theme: Disney's Hercules! Hercules' horse, Pegasus, was so important in ancient Corinth that he was often depicted on coins...we're glad to know that a flying horse is on our side!
Saturday was the much-anticipated Greek Games! We participated in tug-of-war and an obstacle course. Despite the bad weather (hail in April?) we had a great time competing in the games!

Tonight are the Closing Ceremonies, where we will find out who won Greek Week! Regardless of whether we place first or last, our whole chapter had an incredible week! Many thanks to our Sigma Phi Epsilon and Sigma Delta Tau teammates for giving it their all this week and making this a great bonding experience. Thanks also to the whole Greek Programming board, including Jackie Roy and Greek Week co-chairwoman Lisa Snider for organizing the best Greek Week AU has ever seen!
